Bring BB-8 to life in a whole new way! For a fun Star Wars-inspired party activity, bake up sugar cookies in the shape of BB-8 and encourage guests to decorate their own cookie!

Ingredients

• Your favorite sugar cookie recipe 
  
• White icing, separated into three bowls 
  
• Orange food dye 
  
• Black food dye 
  
• Pastry bag or plastic bag
  
• 1 small round cookie cutter
  
• 1 large round cookie cutter 

Directions

1. Prepare your favorite sugar cookie dough recipe.
   
2. Lightly cover your surface with flour.
   
3. Roll out dough with a rolling pin.
   
4. Press round cookie cutters into dough. Place the smaller circle on top of the larger, connecting the edges to create BB-8’s head.
   
5. Drop orange food dye into a bowl of white icing and stir.
   
6. Drop black food dye into a bowl of white icing and stir.
   
7. To prepare grey icing, drop a small amount of black food dye into a bowl of white icing and stir.
   
8. Transfer icing colors into individual pastry bags for piping.
   
9. Pipe white icing onto sugar cookies and let dry.
   
10. Pipe orange, black, and grey details onto dry white icing and let dry.
