AsiaPOP Comicon (APCC) is back for its fourth year running and while we don’t want to be that person, this year’s installment is indeed shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. From a guest appearance by a Disney animator to never-before-seen teasers, from first dibs on the freshest merch and collectibles to things that even we’ve sworn to secrecy about, APCC Manila is without a doubt the region’s biggest pop culture event to span across the expansive Disney universe.

As we count down the days to APCC – we’re biting our nails here! – prep yourself with the five things you have to check out when you make your visit to SMX Convention Center in Manila this weekend. Don’t forget to get your tickets here!

#1: Welcome to Southeast Asia’s First-Ever Hall D

The halls are where it is at and for Disney, that would be Hall D. For all who enter its doors, be prepared to be treated to special content from Walt Disney Animation Studios, from Nutcracker & The Four Realms to Mary Poppins Returns, and hear firsthand about the updates coming your way on the DisneyLife app. To the fans of Mal, Evie, Carlos, and Jay, we heard from a little bird that an exclusive preview of Disney Channel’s Descendants 3 will be screened here as well. To top all of that off, Hall D will also play host to...

#2: Legendary Disney Artist Mark Henn

You know the Disney Princesses that you hold so near and dear to your heart from Ariel to Jasmine to Mulan to Tiana? Mark worked on all of them. Talk about a legend. Apart from getting a glimpse into the concept art from his past films, don’t be surprised if Mark drops an itty-bitty teaser from the highly-anticipated Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It-Ralph 2.

#3: Hall M Returns

Marvel fans, get ready to assemble at the one hall dedicated to all things Marvel. With major blockbusters like Captain Marvel and the fourth Avengers film coming out next year, we’ll bet our hats – and shields and hammers! – that juicy surprises will be in store. Just remember: Thanos demands your silence. Expect announcements for future Marvel content on the other platforms like TV, mobile games and comics to be thrown into the mix, too.

#4: Will Thanos Spare You?

Speaking of Thanos – in Avengers: Infinity War, a simple snap of the Mad Titan’s fingers led to half of the universe disappearing quite literally into thin air. Did you make the cut? Take a walk through a spectacular Quantum Realm tunnel installation at Hall D to find out. A massive Infinity Gauntlet will also make a special appearance in the space.

#5: Take the Galaxy Far, Far Away into Your Home

We didn’t forget about you, Star Wars fans! Hall D will also be where a one-of-a-kind – some might say out of this world – Star Wars consumer product collaboration will be unveiled.
