WHAT WE KNOW ABOUT MARVEL STUDIOS’ AVENGERS: ENDGAME SO FAR

We are counting down the days, hours and minutes to the release of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. After a decade of movies, we finally get to see how this epic chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will end. Whether you’re looking for something to fan the flames of your excitement or just a quick catch-up before heading to the cinemas, we’ve got your need-to-know below.

#1: TONY STARK (A.K.A. IRON MAN) WAS STUCK IN SPACE, BUT...

...he survives and makes it back home. Phew. Nebula was the only other survivor after the battle with Thanos on Titan went south, so we’re betting that they worked together to figure out a way to reunite with the other heroes on Earth.

#2: CAROL DANVERS WILL TEAM UP WITH THE SURVIVING SUPER HEROES

What role will Carol play in the Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame? After her explosive debut in Marvel Studios’ Captain Marvel, we absolutely cannot wait to see her join forces with the rest of the Avengers.

#3: ANT-MAN REPORTING FOR DUTY

We know that Scott Lang (a.k.a. Ant-Man) survives Thanos’ reality-altering snap and finds his way to the surviving heroes. Phew. Again. The last we saw him in Marvel Studios’ Ant-Man and the Wasp, Scott was stuck in the Quantum Realm. How did he find his way out of it? That’s something that we cannot wait to find out.

#4: THE NEW UNIFORMS

After a decade of movies, we finally see the heroes in a unified look for the first time, complete with the Avengers’ “A” emblem on their new suits. We can’t help but notice the bulkier suit on James Rhodes (a.k.a. War Machine). Is this a nod to his usual suit or is there something more?

#5: NATASHA ROMANOFF (A.K.A. BLACK WIDOW) HAS A LOOK CHANGE

In the trailers released so far, it seems that Natasha will go from the platinum blonde we saw in Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War to her old red with some traces of blonde in the mix. With Clint Barton (a.k.a. Hawkeye) also sporting a new look, we can’t help but wonder what spurred the change in both.

#6: THE OTHER SURVIVORS WE KNOW OF

Thanks to the official character posters and the trailers that were released, we know a couple more of our favourite characters survived: Pepper Potts, Wong, Harold “Happy” Hogan and Valkyrie. Phew. How many times is that, now?

#7: TONY STARK AND STEVE ROGERS (A.K.A. CAPTAIN AMERICA) ARE BACK ON THE SAME SIDE

“You trust me?”

“I do.”

Straight to the heart! We are still pretty ruined by the aftermath of Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War, but the fact that these guys are back on the same team again since the events of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War just makes everything a little better. Let’s agree to never disagree again, okay? Guys?
